Cannabidiol, or CBD has become immensely popular. In 1942, the CBD compound was isolated from Cannabis sativa by American organic chemist Roger Adams. Later in 1970, Israeli scientist Raphael Mechoulam discovered that CBD, like most cannabinoids, is not psychoactive. With ongoing research and legislation of its use, CBD (cannabidiol) continues to make a positive impact on the health and wellness of millions around the world.
